Playful and Accessible Visual Art Practice for engaging professional development

Fri, 18th October, 2024 from 9:30 AM, in London

As people committed to their long term personal development, interested in connecting with others around experiential and experimental learning, you are invited to our face to face Sadler Heath event in London on 18th October from 9:30am to 13:00pm at the Amadeus Centre near Paddington.

Milly Rolle, a regular participant in our events, will be running the event this time, which will be moderated by Jeremy.

Based on her experience of facilitating, producing and managing combined-arts projects/learning experiences, and with a recent move towards visual learning as a pillar of her work, Milly has developed a series of collaborative creative exercise to shake up your learning and development toolkit.

This session will be fuelled by art-making and ‘play’- requiring us all to flex our curiosity and champion the efficacy of using art-based exploration for self development as leaders and for cultivating deeper connections in teams.

We will explore the inclusive possibilities of working in the visual art realm- and how adaptable it can be for a diverse range of learners and professionals. We will also explore how this work can create a beautiful varied flow in group learning –  encouraging meaningful and gentle reflection whilst also energising and igniting a collective space.

Milly is a Creative Learning and Development Facilitator, a Visual Artist and Community Engagement Specialist.  She uses creative, playful and collaborative tools rooted in the visual and performing arts.  She invites community groups and working teams to ground themselves in authenticity and expand their perspectives and work their creative muscles in a caring and and collaborative environment.  As well as running her own practice, she has supported Chickenshed Theatre for many years creating bespoke workshops for companies hoping to overcome issues and questions around Diversity, Inclusion and Unconscious Bias.

Please sign up for the event in the link below if you are interested in attending.  We would love to see you there.
