Bringing Somatics into Constellations

Thu, 21st September, 2017 from 1:00 PM, in Lewes

The idea of using ‘constellations’ as an approach to resolving situations and issues that may have their roots out of our awareness dates back to the work of Burt Hellinger in the late 1970s. It is an experiential method of enquiry which is systemic in nature and particularly helpful in giving the client new perspectives, and increasing their conscious awareness of the real nature of the issue they are facing.

Sarah Henbrey has used  constellations with her clients for some years, as a way of helping them to gain insights into hidden and unconscious forces at work in their lives and organisations.    She has recently been studying the connections between somatics and constellations, and this session will give participants the opportunity to see and experience Constellations in a way that has a strong somatic flavour.    She is now starting to integrate the somatics and the constellation approaches and is keen to work with a supportive group to do some experimental work.  Participants  are encouraged to bring an issue/challenge/dilemma you are working with at present to explore – the content of the issue is not the main interest, but it is important that it is an issue to which you are connected in some way.
