Fri, 17th October, 2025 from 9:30 AM, in London
As people responsible for their own long-term personal development we invite you to an event with Rachel Thompson in which you are invited to consider:
- What is the essence of mindfulness?
- What is high performance and how is this linked to mindfulness?
- What are the opportunities to integrate mindfulness techniques into the workplace?
To facilitate your response to these questions we will:
- Identify how values can shape the present moment and be a tool for intentional behaviour
- Experiment with ways we can shift the ‘spotlight’ of attention and how this impacts our experience of the world
- Discover ways to gather our attention around a ‘grounding’ anchor
- Explore how to tune in to the inner world of thoughts, feelings and sensations
- Discuss ways to integrate gratitude, appreciation and friendliness into our responses.
Rachel has consolidated her training and research with the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation along with executive education and neuroscience to create a practical framework for creating a personalised toolkit of habits that can cultivate resilience, enhance focus, and foster a deeper sense of connection with yourself and others. She will be practicing some of her toolkit with us.
We hope you will find the morning stimulating and mindful. We will be running it at our regular London venue, The Amadeus Centre in Maida Vale/Little Venice, and it will include a light breakfast.
With a BSc Hons in Psychology and an MSc in Executive Coaching, Rachel is a very experienced executive coach who helps high achievers in professional services firms (PSFs) to maximise their contribution to business and society by becoming more self-aware, authentic, and agile.
